2010 Volkswagen New Beetle 2.5L Convertible

2010 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible | Harvest Moon Beige / Blue Roof | 30,433 Miles

Overview

This 2010 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible is a remarkably low-mileage example with the classic color combination and personality that make these cars so appealing. Finished in Harvest Moon Beige with a Blue convertible roof and paired with a Cream V-Tex leatherette interior, this Beetle has only 30,433 miles.

Power comes from Volkswagen’s 2.5L inline 5-cylinder engine producing 150 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic and front-wheel drive. The CARFAX shows this as a 1-Owner personal vehicle, last owned in Maryland, with exceptionally low annual mileage throughout its reported history.

For someone looking for a fun weekend cruiser, summer convertible, or simply a distinctive low-mileage Volkswagen, this New Beetle is a difficult combination to duplicate.

Engine & Performance

Under the hood is Volkswagen’s 2.5L inline 5-cylinder engine, producing approximately 150 horsepower. The five-cylinder engine gives the New Beetle a distinctive character while providing enough power for comfortable everyday driving, highway cruising, and top-down weekend trips.

It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic, allowing the driver to leave the transmission in full automatic mode or manually select gears when desired.

Front-wheel drive provides predictable road manners, while features including electronic stability control, anti-slip regulation, electronic differential lock, anti-lock brakes, and traction control help provide additional confidence behind the wheel.

Interior & Comfort

The interior is finished in Cream V-Tex leatherette seating surfaces, giving this Beetle a bright, upscale cabin that complements the Harvest Moon Beige exterior beautifully.

The front seats are height adjustable, and the cabin includes cruise control, air conditioning, remote keyless locking, power windows, heated power exterior mirrors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, leather shift knob, illuminated entry, front reading lights, outside temperature display, overhead console, driver and passenger vanity mirrors, and a rear-seat center armrest.

The New Beetle’s compact size keeps it easy to maneuver, while the interior still provides useful seating and storage for weekend trips or everyday driving.

Convertible Top

One of the biggest highlights is the Blue power convertible roof, which gives this New Beetle a particularly distinctive look against the Harvest Moon Beige body.

The semi-automatic retractable soft top makes it easy to transform the car from a comfortable closed-roof cruiser into an open-air convertible. The roof lining provides a more finished appearance when the top is closed, while the compact convertible design makes this an ideal car for warm-weather driving.

Technology & Audio

Entertainment is handled by a premium AM/FM audio system with 10 speakers, along with a single-disc CD player, MP3 capability, SiriusXM capability, and radio data system.

The audio system is straightforward and easy to use, keeping the cabin period-correct while still providing plenty of entertainment options for everyday driving.

Exterior

The Harvest Moon Beige exterior is one of the most recognizable and attractive color choices for the New Beetle, and the Blue soft top gives this particular example even more personality.

Classic rounded bodywork, distinctive circular headlights, body-color exterior details, and the traditional Beetle profile give it a look that remains instantly recognizable.

Power heated mirrors add everyday convenience, while the compact footprint makes the Beetle easy to park and enjoyable to drive around town.

Condition & History

The CARFAX history is one of the strongest aspects of this New Beetle. It is reported as a CARFAX 1-Owner personal vehicle and was last owned in Maryland. The owner averaged only about 4,253 miles per year, helping explain the exceptionally low 30,433 miles showing today.

CARFAX does report minor damage in 2014 involving the front and left-front area. The event is specifically classified as minor, and CARFAX reports no structural damage, no airbag deployment, no total-loss history, and no indication of an odometer rollback.

The vehicle was also previously sold through a Volkswagen Certified dealer and has documented maintenance that includes inspection work, oil and filter service, transmission fluid service, brake service, power-steering fluid service, tire service, and steering/suspension checks.

With its extremely low mileage, one-owner CARFAX history, distinctive color combination, and convertible configuration, this is the type of New Beetle that stands apart from the typical higher-mileage examples on the market.
